Sudip Kumar Gharami’s undefeated 112 took Bengal to 199 for 5 at the end of Day 2, in pursuit of Andhra’s 295 as they still trail by 96 runs with the quarter-final in the balance. Gharami has hit 15 fours so far in his innings but had very little support from his batting partners. Abhimanyu Easwaran fell for just one while the second-highest scorer, Sumanta Gupta, is currently batting with Gharami on 22.
